Primitives By Kathy This Beer Is Making Me Awesome Black Box Sign 5" by 4" When we started Bluegrass Liquor Box in 2013, we set out to create not just another liquor store, but a store that sells exactly the types of wines, spirits and specialty craft beers that people want to find. We actually asked our customers what they wanted us to carry, and we stocked the shelves with Woodford Reserve and other Kentucky bourbons, hard to find fine wines, the best cigars in the USA and the microbrew craft beer they want to buy. We still will search for those rare, specialty wines and spirits that our customers ask us for. Being a local liquor store is important. We try to buy from local business owners in Georgetown whenever possible, because it supports our own economy here. When we buy local, it helps our own community thrive. Other liquor stores do exist here in Georgetown, but many of them are owned by big, faceless corporations that are invest their money elsewhere, not in our local community.

While you might save a dollar or two, it just isn’t worth it overall. Bluegrass Liquor Box is locally owned and we source locally for goods whenever it is possible to do so. We do it all…. if there is a specific beer you would like us to stock, just let us know and we’ll do our best to bring it in for you. You don’t have to be a wine aficionado to know a good wine when you taste it. We carry a good selection of fine wines from cabernet sauvignon, to chardonnay, to merlot and all varieties in between. Of course, we carry more than just bourbon and whiskey in our liquor store. We stay well stocked in other spirits, as well. If you’re set to make up margaritas for the weekend, we’ll have the tequila ready for you. We carry many different brands of vodka, gin and everything else you might need to stock the bar and throw a party. There are few things more relaxing than being able to kick back with a great cigar and a glass of Kentucky bourbon. Bluegrass Liquor Box is not only a liquor store.
