This is a working farm that includes honey bees, geese, chickens, various fruit trees, and a vegetable garden. Feel free to stroll around the farm and watch the numerous birds at the various bird feeders, pick fresh fruit when in season, watch the chickens and help collect eggs, or wander up onto the hill for a view of the Coast Range that can offer some great sunsets. This house is in the remodel phase. The room and bathroom is fully completed, but note, there are parts of the common area that still need updating or completing.

Guests can park by front step of porch and enter through the front door and have access to the kitchen and living areas including the sunroom, original living room and chairs by the wood stove. You'll be provided a key and can come and go as you please. The other two bedrooms are available but aren't listed. One has a king bed the other a full bed. When guests are using those two rooms, it will be a shared bath upstairs.

Our location is farm country. Our home is located in-between Carlton and Lafayette in the middle of wine country. A quick five minute drive will get you into the quaint, small town of Carlton. A great destination if you would like to walk from block to block and sample numerous wines and visit small town shops. We are also only ten minutes from McMinnville which is home to many more wine tasting rooms, pubs, shops and the Evergreen Aviation Museum and water park. Or simply stroll down the road to our next door neighbor, Anne Amie Winery (formerly Chateau Benoit Winery) and take in the views and some great wine. You will need to have your own car. We have plenty of room for parking. From Lafayette you can catch a bus to various locations. This is not a 4 star hotel, it is a farm house. My house still needs to have the remodel finished . It is clean and organized, but the common areas still need updating, for example I have plywood subfloors in the kitchen.Please treat this house as you would your own place.

Just .9 mile east in Gordonsville is Uphill House Bed & Breakfast, a relatively new home and B&B with English flair.
