The Washington Winemakers will hold its annual tasting on Sunday, April 2, 2017 at the Casa Italiana, 595 1/2 Third Street N.W. (between F and G) from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Come one, come all! It's our annual festival of wine and fellowship. Members of the Washington Winemakers will present their wines for tasting and discussion. April 2 is two weeks before Easter, so that should minimize schedule conflicts. Set up is 12 - 1, wine tasting is from 1 to 4, cleanup after 4 PM. Bring your home-made wine, bring food, bring friends and relatives who help you make wine. It is a festival, not a contest. There are no wine judges or prizes. Besides, if you a self-respecting winemaker, you know that your own wine is the best! We open the event to the public, who pay a modest admission. Winemakers pay by bringing wine and food.
