Go for the growler of the beer du jour: a half gallon (1.89 litre) glass container filled to the brim for around the $25 mark. If you’re looking for something a tad smaller, get a squealer (945 ml) for around $15 instead.

They're not trying to trick you with the name – the World of Whisky is a beautifully curated retail whisky store in a shopping arcade in Double Bay. At a minimum you're looking at spending $100 on a bottle here, but if you have cash to blow you could drop up to $5,500 on a 40-year-old Glenfiddich.
