Nearly half of the restaurants are new additions, including David Chang’s Momofuku Ko and Eli Kulp’s A.kitchen+bar. The list is broken down into regions — Northeast, South, Central and West. The West boasts most of the best wine restaurants this year, with a total of 36 restaurants; the Northeast follows closely with 32 restaurants. It should come as little surprise that the city with the most wine-savvy restaurants is New York City, with 16 total — that’s more restaurants than there are listed in the Central region.
