We have a very specific approach to the wines we put on our list: the wineries must be family-owned and operated.  Matthew Pridgen, our sommelier, has always gravitated toward small, family-owned wineries since starting in the business more than 15 years ago.  He feels strongly that it’s in our nature to enjoy things that are made by hand—similar to the philosophy Chris has with food. So we put together a list of wines that are produced by real families from real places.  Some of the wines we offer have been produced by the same families for generations and some may have started production last year, but the one common thread of this list is and always will be family.
