I couldn't believe that I was able to cook and present food that looked and tasted as great as it did. Freya, Maynard and Benedict are wonderful hosts and make you feel very welcome.

Like sound and smell, taste is a sense that can vividly recall a moment, whether it’s sipping Cabernet in a lush Rutherford vineyard, swirling a glass of Malbec next to a roaring Argentinean asado, or just a great armchair voyage with a glass of Portuguese Vinho Verde. Tasting wine is a trip unto itself, but visiting the places in which wine is made truly adds to the magic.

We booked the "wine time" tour and couldn't have enjoyed ourselves more! Tom (Jude Law doppelgänger) was kind, educational and welcoming to everyone on the tour. We stopped at three picturesque wineries for tastings and a small meal on the last stop. Well worth the trip! I had a fantastic day visiting three wineries, learning a lot about Chianti wine, tasting some lovely food, and catching some spectacular views of the hills and vinyards. Definitely a tour worth doing. We read the reviews for this company before going and our friend recommended them.

We had Bernardo as our guide and he was fantastic. We were so blessed to have him since he apparently only does about 8 tours a month. We stopped at the crazy butcher and all the food and wine was superb. My wife and I very much enjoyed the wines and villas tour from Grape tours. We were driven out into the country and stopped at two vineyards and a Medici villa. Our guide, Tom, was informative, entertaining and organized. We loved sitting in the farmhouse kitchen tasting and learning about the Carmignano wines while Alberto, the proprietor, made us bruschetta... Bernardo was our tour guide. He was very knowledgeable about wine and friendly! The country side was stunning and the wine was delicious. We visited smaller wineries which is what I was hoping for. We left purchasing a case per winery and the first location waived our shipping (a HUGE savings as we live in California). We also got to... This tour was a highlight of our trip to Florence. We met in a central location in Florence and our small group of 8 visited two vineyards and made a stop for lunch.

It was the perfect size group, just the right amount of activity (leisurely enough to relax and enjoy the day, rather than being rushed from one place... We had a wonderful day in Tuscany. Bernardo our tour guide was insightful and was gracious. We couldn't have asked for more! If you want a fun and gentle introduction to the Tuscan wine region without the stress of driving around yourself, this tour is for you. Bernardo was our tour guide, who works in the wine industry, which is a good sign! At our first winery, he guided us through tasting the wine and what to look for. Amazing tour of a vineyard with incredible home cooked meal! Bernardo was a knowledgeable, easy-to-understand, super smart tour guide/wine aficionado. Anthony, the vineyard representative was welcoming, entertaining and eloquent and a Chicagoan ex-pat. Thrilled to have taken part in this tour. I would recommend to all who have the pleasure of visiting Firenze! A great day out with lots of lovely Carmingano wines.
