Located in the Warren G. Dutton Jr. Agricultural Pavilion, the winery utilizes state-of-the-art equipment and winemaking procedures to ensure the production of premium wines indicative of the Russian River appellation.
The majority of the wines are produced from the estate grown grapes of Shone Farm. The Shone Farm Winery is committed to quality and all wines must pass a rigorous review by a professional tasting panel before being released for sale. The wines are now available for tasting at the Wineyard Tasting Room at 1305 Cleveland Avenue in Santa Rosa. Chris Wills, formerly of Korbel and Lake Sonoma Winery, is the winemaker for Shone Farm Winery. Business-oriented students are involved with all aspects of the marketing and sale of Shone Farm wine, including label design, production of promotional materials, and experience with both direct sales and sales through a wine broker. Shone Farm has 70 acres of grapes that are sold to several Sonoma County premium wineries. In addition to commercial use, the vineyard also provides a venue for instruction. We are bringing back the Roots and Wine Farm Dinner this fall! Our farm crew will serve up a bevy of fantastic wines with root inspired dishes from the farm. Be sure to check out the MENU if you haven’t already! Join us at Heritage Prairie Farm for a new take on a festive autumn farm dinner on Thursday, October 5th at 6PM. Please Note: If you would like a vegetarian alternative for this farm dinner, please specify the amount upon purchasing. Our kitchen is not an allergy-free facility. Menus are subject to change. We can accommodate seating parties up to 10 people together with one-week prior notice. Roots and Wine Farm Dinner We recommend that all guests arrive promptly at 6PM to the Roots and Wine Farm Dinner. Open parking is available on site and an attendant will be on duty to direct you. Guests are greeted with a complimentary glass of wine upon arrival. Butler-passed appetizers are served during cocktail hour. Wine Pairings are included in the ticket price.
A Cash bar will be available with beer and cocktails. A farm tour with Farmer Nate is also offered around 6:30PM. Guests will sit for the Roots and Wine Farm Dinner at 7PM. Dinner will be assigned seating at long family-style tables and courses are served in a family-style service with additional wine pairings. Please Note: we can accommodate seating parties up to 10 people together with one-week prior notice.
