The trick is to drink in moderation, and pick the right ones. Here’s what you need to know. 1. Can I drink alcohol when I quit sugar? ✔️ Beer: While this beverage does contain a lot of sugar, it’s in the form of maltose (not fructose) which our bodies can metabolise just fine. 
Read more about our stance on fructose. ✔️ Spirits: Dry spirits like gin, vodka and whiskey are very low in fructose. ✔️ Wine: Believe it or not but wine contains very minimal amounts of fructose. See question two below. ❌ Champagne or “sparkling”: Though similar in the fermentation process of red and white wine (as mentioned above), Champagne does tend to retain quite a lot of the fructose from the grapes. Which is why we don’t think this is the best option. ❌ Dessert wine: A stack of sugar remains unfermented in these wines.  2. What about the fructose in wine? Believe it or not, but wine actually contains minimal fructose. The fructose in the grapes is what ferments to become alcohol, leaving the finished product low in sugar. If the wine has been fermented to “dry” (red or white) it contains very low levels of residual sugar (less than 1g per litre). Red wine is lower in fructose than white wine and is definitely the better option in our opinion.

Enoch’s Stomp Vineyard & Winery invites you to enjoy America’s most celebrated wine, Cabernet Sauvignon.  This wine was aged for 20 months in American and French oak barrels.  The result is a beautiful full bodied wine, incorporating an array of flavors including:  dark cherry, black currant, vanilla, toast, spice and tobacco. Chambourcin, pronounced [shahm-boor-san], is a French-American hybrid grape with medium to full body, berry aromatics, and spicy herbal subtleties.  Enoch aged this wine 18 months in American oak producing a smooth, slightly tannic finish.  Next release will be at the end of 2015. Dolcetto, pronounced [dol’tjetto], meaning “little sweet one,” is a grape variety made popular in northwest Italy.  It produces pleasant dry red wines of light to medium body and soft tannins.  It is known for black cherry, licorice and prune flavors, with a characteristically bitter finish reminiscent of almonds.  Dolcetto should be drunk young, two to three years after release.  
It isn’t meant for deep thought but simply for happy drinking.  No cellaring required here This light, easy drinking wine pairs well with pastas and pizza dishes, antipasti, and roasted poultry.   Serve at room temperature. Zinfandel is known as a classic, bold American wine.  This deep red colored, full bodied, tannic wine is usually described as spicy, zesty, peppery, with fruity flavors of berries or dark cherries and a raspberry-like aroma.  Zinfandel goes well with typical American food such as pizza, burgers, and steaks and is hearty enough to match up with thick red sauces.  Serve at room temperature.  Aged in American oak for 12 months. Montepulciano (“Mon-ta-pull-channo”), popular in central and southern Italy, is the second most planted grape in that region (after Sangiovese).  Recently it has found a suitable home in the vineyards of West Texas giving Enoch the opportunity to produce this medium-bodied dry red wine that bursts with red fruit flavors such as cherry, cranberry, raspberry jam, red plum, prune, & wild berries.  
Traditionally the wine carries subtle notes of violet, licorice, oak and dried herbs, often with an ash-like earthiness. This red is tall cotton! Dry Red Blend  -  All Y’all Enoch has spent years tinkering in his lab creating various blends for personal use.
