While the kids may enjoy finding Nemo, the adults will enjoy finding vino during the 21st annual Epcot International Food & Wine Festival, going on now through November 14, 2016.To guide you in navigating this epic food festival, featuring over 32 new menu items and 49 new cocktails, beers, wines and ciders, Visit Orlando's foodie fans have selected 16 grown-up bites and sips perfect for adults who want to play like kids again. Grab your fork and knife and get ready to taste the world.The Chew Collective and Greenhouse GuruThe new marketplaces in the Future World area include the Chew Collective, from the hit ABC Daytime show, where we enjoyed the Grilled Beef Skewer with Romaine, Apricots and Feta Cheese ($5.00) and a Peanut Butter and White Chocolate Mousse with Caramel Drizzle (Gluten-Free, $3.25).
The Chilled Tomato Gazpacho with Lump Crab Meat (Gluten-Free, $4.50) is a perfect sunny day treat at the Greenhouse Guru. Also in Future World, is the new Chocolate Studio serving up the most decadent adult treat of the festival, the Red Wine Chocolate Truffle for $2.25.Next door is a new marketplace for wine serving up a Seared Scallop in Truffled Celery Root Puree, Brussels Sprouts and Wild Mushrooms ($5.50), paired perfectly with a glass of Kurt Russell's GoGi "Goldie" Chardonnay ($9.50). The Michael David Winery Seven Deadly Zins Zinfadel ($4.50) is the perfect pair to the chocolate treats. Our festival favorite adult treat is the Hard Soda Floats with Vanilla Soft-Serve ($6.00) made with your choice of Best Damn Hard Root Beer, Sprecher Hard Cherry Cola or Sprecher Hard Orange Cream. We went with orange, yum! The all-time festival favorite is Canada's Beef Filet Mignon but we were excited to see that the Canadian Cheddar Cheese Soup has grown up with an added Pretzel Roll for $4.75.In France there are so many great tastes but the standout is their Frozen Daiquiri Ice Pop made with Strawberry Puree and French Caribbean Rhum Clément for $8.50.The festival surprise is Morocco's Spicy Hummus Fries with Cucumber
, Tomato, Onions and Tzatziki Sauce (Vegetarian, $5.00), perfectly paired is the Moroccan Sangria and a Chocolate Baklava ($3.95) made with Rolled Phyllo Dough with Toasted Almonds and Dark Chocolate Sauce. The marketplace outside of the American Adventure pavilion has gone through a redo and serves up two of our favorites the New England Lobster Roll ($7.75) and a Freshly Baked Carrot Cake with Cream Cheese Icing (Vegetarian, $3.75).Vegan lovers can rejoice over the very tasty Vegan Korean BBQ with Steamed Rice and Kimchi featuring Gardein Beefless Tips (Vegetarian, $4.75).The world-famous Pineapple Dole Whip ($4.19) is back! But during the festival you can get this treat for all ages as an adult version by adding Bacardi Coconut Rum ($10.00).The China marketplace is chock full of great tastes including their Black Pepper Shrimp with Garlic Noodles ($5.50), Beijing Roasted Duck in a Steamed Bun with Hoisin Sauce ($6.50) and their Chicken Pot Stickers ($4.00).
