The Loft rents for $175 for a single night or $150 for multiple night stays. The Loft rents for $145.00/night Tuesday thru Thursday. The accommodations include a complimentary bottle of wine, a glass of wine and hors d’oeuvres at sunset and a continental style breakfast in your room or on the patio. The Loft was lovingly built by Jerry and is a beautiful large room with a queen size bed. The room has a steeply pitched vaulted ceiling with exposed rough beams. The doors are all hand crafted and have this masculine weight feel to them as they are opened. The bedroom floor is made of heavy planks sanded and finished like a sailboat deck reflecting Jerry’s past life working on sailboats. The Tuscan styled furniture is accented with Renaissance linens and bed coverings. The oversized bathroom includes a bathtub with armrest, a glass enclosed shower with a seat, and a large nine foot sink deck all lavishly finished with Italian tile. Masterfully integrated into the old world charm is a 42″ flat screen TV and wireless Internet service.

A visit to Barboursville Vineyards near Charlottesville offers you a choice of two B&Bs. The 1804 Inn at Barboursville Vineyards is on the grounds of the vineyard and features bits and pieces of England, Italy, France and Virginia. Just .9 mile east in Gordonsville is Uphill House Bed & Breakfast, a relatively new home and B&B with English flair. Even closer to Uphill than Barboursville is Horton Vineyards and Winery at .7 mile away.
