The Messina Hof Wine & Roses Half Marathon will be on April 23rd in Bryan, Texas at Messina Hof Winery & Resort.

Awards will be given to the top three male and female winners of each age category. Age category winners are based on chip time within the official results. The age categories are as follows: 14-19 // 20-24 //25-29 // 30-34 // 35-39 // 40-44 // 45-49 // 50-54 // 55-59 // 60-69 // 70+ T-Shirts and Finisher Prize Half Marathoners will receive a tri-blend race shirt at packet pick-up, but sizes are only guaranteed to those who register on or before April 7th. A one of a kind finisher’s prize will be given when you cross the finish line, but it’s a surprise!
All runners will also receive FREE race photos from the event, so smile big and run for the camera! Participants will be able to pick up their packets Friday, April 21st from 4pm-7pm at Messina Hof Winery and Saturday, April 22nd from 11am-6pm at Messina Hof Winery. Please note on Saturday you will need to park at Rudder High School and take a provided bus to the winery to get your packet and also enjoy the Wine & Roses Festival. We will have twice as many buses as last year's race. Race day packet pick-up for $10 will be at Messina Hof Winery & Resort but will only be for those that specifically request to do so. You will be allowed to pick-up packets for friends or family only if you have a copy of their confirmation page or photo ID. Parking will be at Rudder High School and there will be shuttles running from 5:30am-7am and then 7:30am-11:30am. Keep in mind there will be Gear Check on-site at Messina Hof - Winery & Resort. Once you finish your race, you will be treated to the finest brunch the Brazos Valley has to offer brought to you by the Vintage House Restaurant, Messina Hof’s own restaurant.
Check out our 2017 Host Hotels! The Wine and Roses Half Marathon will start at 7:00am on Sunday, April 23rd, from Messina Hof Winery, located at 4545 Old Reliance Road, Bryan, Texas 77808. 16-minute per mile pace which works out to 3.5 hour cutoff for the Half Marathon. A disposable road racing timing system created by Redemption Race Productions will be used for both the 5K and half marathon. The timing system comes attached to the back of your race bib, and will need to be worn on the front side of your body. Traffic control will be conducted by the city of College Station and College Station Police Department to ensure the safety of our competitors and event participants. There will be 8 water stops. They range from 1 to 2 miles apart. Every water stop will consist of water, while select stops will have Gatorade. The water stop located in the vines will have wine tastings exclusively available to runners! There will be plenty of portable toilets at the start line along with water stops at mile 3, 6, and 9 along the course.
