Since you have a car, it would pay big dividends to drive off strip to a Von's or Albertsons as their price will be 1/3 or less of what you will find on the strip, not to mention faster than driving to a casino and navigating to find the package store. Even without a car it is still worth taking a cab from the airport and stopping en route to hotel if you are buying more then one bottle or something more expensive than a bottle of vinegar.

Get on the shuttle at Barbary Coast, to Gold Coast...stock up on all kinds of beer/wine/liq at low prices at the shop in the SE corner of Gold coast casino, then take the shuttle back.
