But the question that followed the founder/owner of Serendipity, a tiny artisanal ice-cream shop located at 421 NW 26th St., was how to fuse the two. That is, until now.Levison recently received a beer and wine license from the City of Miami, giving her the ability to sell cold brews, glasses of wine, and ice cream mashups that blend the two, such as beer floats and spiked flavors. "I've said for the longest time that this neighborhood has a thirst for liquor," she laughs.
"But I wanted to make sure everything was right and done properly. It's great timing too since we're moving into summer." With the license, Levison is in the process of experimenting with beer floats, testing a variety of beer and ice cream combinations.  According to Levison, the first float, which will be a pairing of Blue Moon and blood-orange sorbet, will launch this Friday, June 17. J. Wakefield stout with salted caramel will follow. Her goal, she says, is to incorporate more local breweries, as well as feature a different beer float each week.  "My love is for local anything," she says. "I use a lot of local products in my ice cream, so I want to do the same here." Along with her three signature floats and a spiked milkshake that's in the works, solo bottled beers will be available for purchase.  She's also toying with the idea of hosting a weekday happy hour featuring spiked popsicles, glasses of wine, and scoops of her ice cream and sorbet varieties.  "We definitely have a few different ideas in the process right now," she says.
"We want to test different things out and see how they go." Beer floats will go for $9 each, bottles of beer will run $6, and spiked milkshakes will cost $10. Levison says prices are subject to change depending upon customer feedback.  best wine from turkey"What I love about Serendipity is I can keep reinventing," she says. books for wine lovers"It's such a perfect fit for Wynwood, and I think this sets us apart again, but in a different and fun way." glass of wine badFollow Clarissa Buch on Instagram and Twitter.what time can you buy wine in texasWine ice cream: How it's made at Mercer's Dairy in Boonville, NY (photos)best wine of germany
