Certainly, it is the most vivid and supremely fun film made about ramen. If you love ramen, food, or food films, you must see this film. The Japanese tale of an enigmatic band of ramen ronin who guide the widow of a noodle shop owner on her quest for the perfect recipe, Tampopo serves up a savory broth of  culinary adventure seasoned with off beat comedy sketches and the erotic exploits of a gastronome gangster. Sweet, sexy, surreal, and mouthwatering, it remains one of the most delectable examples of food on film.
In honor of this year’s 30th anniversary of Tampopo, the Flatirons Food Film Festival will screen a digital restoration of the film in conjunction with the International Film Series. Before the film, there will be a sampling of ramen from Black Cat Farm-Table-Bistro and Rama Ramen. In addition, Chefs Custom Cutlery will showcase its Japanese knives.  Other vendors include The Niwot Doughnut Company and Upstart Kombucha. After our screening of Tampopo, get your slurp on by joining us for a bowl of ramen at My Ramen & Izakaya (3280 28th St., Unit #2, Boulder). Between bites of ramen, let’s yak about the movie and see where the conversation takes us. My Ramen and Izakaya has several types of ramen as well as other Japanese food. For a better experience on Facebook, switch to our basic site or update your browser.Arts and entertainment · Non-profit organisation Grand Pré WinesWinery/VineyardThe Noodle GuyRestaurantCBC Nova ScotiaRegionEvents in Wolfville, Nova ScotiaGaspereau VineyardsBahamian EscapesEl Celler de Can RocaOtherSee all .
