A variety of wines from 149 growing regions from all over the world were tasted and judged by an international jury of 160 wine experts earlier this week at the 18th Grand International Wine Award Mundus Vini. Mundus Vini was established 15 years ago by Meininger Verlag publishing house and has become one of the world's most significant wine competitions with a line-up of more than 8,000 wines. The 2014 vintage of this continual medal winner has so far been awarded a Double Gold Medal at the Michelangelo International Wine Awards and 7 gold medals including the Mundus Vini Great International Wine Awards and Vinalies Internationale's, both held in Paris.
