At this reasonable price, it will make a great go-to choice—the kind to stock by the case." Enjoy a glass today!Posted by Fiona Beckett (Google+) on April 3 2015 at 11:52 Tesco has one of its periodic 25% promotions at the moment. In store it applies to six or more bottles, including those on promotion and runs until Tuesday 21st April. Note though that the promotion runs on slightly different dates on their wine site (until Friday April 17th), that there are a number of exclusions including sparkling wine and champagne and that the minimum purchase is 6 x 6 bottle cases.
(So not worth doing unless you’re having a party or stocking a cellar) Check the vintage carefully. My notes apply to the most recent releases which may not be the ones on the shelf. Some wines are only available in a limited number of stores - so probably not in your Tesco Metro. There are also offers on wines I’ve tasted before which I think are good value (see below) Oh, and I know I keep banging on about it but please don’t make this a reason not to buy at least one or two bottles from your local independent wine merchant this month.
