Every year California holds its annual State Fair right in our backyard of Sacramento, California. Not only does that mean corn dogs, carnival rides, and horse races, the organization also hosts one of the most prestigious wine competitions in the state, the California State Fair Wine Competition. This is a chance for California commercial wineries to be professionally judged in an all out duel fighting for the title best of the best in California. Another year brings another great victory for us from the California State Fair! We were pleased to hear that our flagship brand OZV Old Vine Zinfandel was awarded a 98 point rating, earning a Double Gold as well as the title "Best of Class of Region." This is a huge honor being named the number one Zinfandel in the Lodi appellation from such a highly recognized wine competition! OZV Old Vine Zinfandel has always been our staple product for our winery but it means so much more when others seem to have fallen in love with it just as much as we do.
