Apply your medium colored glitter being sure to somewhat blend into the top layer. Step 5: Cover the base of the wine glass with Mod Podge and then sprinkle a heavy layer of glitter. Once again make sure to blend into the top layer of glitter. Step 6: Once you are satisfied with the placement of glitter allow the glass to dry for at least 2 hours.buy low beer and wineStep 7: Spray a thin layer of the clear enamel spray over the glittered portion of you glass and allow it to dry completely!top 10 port wines 2015Now you can enjoy your glittery AND Sassinista approved wine glass for many pop up shops, girls nights, and fun parties to come!best red wine for casual drinking Style: Gabriella RogersPhotography: Brooke Barberagood wine in paris

Like mini rainbows in each tiny speck! Thank you for stopping by!I know its after Christmas, but I didn’t want to spoil the surprise by posting this before we exchanged gifts. One of my best friends collects wine glasses, so this year for Christmas I decided to put my crafting skills to use and make her a glittery Christmas wine glass. I knew I wanted to use glitter, because who doesn’t love glitter?! And then it came to me, a Santa Claus wine glass. And I’m super happy with how it turned out! Step 1: Glue the Glass Wash the glass and dry it. Then spread the glue or modge podge over the glass and stem. You can use a paint brush to spread out the glue, or use your finger if you don’t mind getting a little bit messy. Step 2: Shake on the Red Glitter Shake the red glitter over the glued glass to the middle of the stem. Shake off the excess glitter and repeat. WARNING: This step can be very messy! I suggest lying out newspaper or card-stock underneath to catch the extra glitter.
Step 3: Fade into the Silver Glitter You can skip this step and have an all red glass, but I like the contrast of the red and silver, especially with the silver belt buckle. Start sprinkling on the silver glitter above and below end of the red glitter. This helps it to fade rather than have a straight line. Glitter the bottom of the stem and the base of the glass. Then shake off the extra glitter and repeat. Step 4: Wipe of the Excess Glue Use a wet paper towel to wipe away the excess glue at the top of the wine glass. You want to make sure to do this before the glue dries. Step 5: Modge Podge the Glitter (Optional) This step isn’t necessary, but I recommend it if you don’t want the glitter to fall of over time. Using modge podge, carefully paint it over the outside of the glitter in order to create a seal over the glitter. Step 6: Cut out Belt Buckle Cut out a square of card-stock that is slightly bigger than the width of the ribbon. Cut two slits into the cardboard that the ribbon can slide through.
