best place to buy beer and wine

We're visiting WDW later this month for a week and we will have a car. I would like to pick up some beverages for our villa. We're looking for beer, wine, bottled water and sodas. Looking for the best prices and selection, especially on California wine. Yes, I do have a Costco membership. We found Walmart to be much cheaper than Publix last time. But is Wal-Mart cheaper than Costco and will Wal-Mart have a decent selection of wine? I was not considering Publix. For everyday beer and wine purchases, Publix grocery stores has the best selection in my opinion. ABC stores and Total Wine by the Mall at Millenia will offer a much larger selection of wine if one side of an entire aisle doesn't do it for you. They also sell liquor. And, in the case of Total Wine, the largest selection of craft beer plus the ability to create your own 6 packs though it can be a lengthy and expensive outing. So the Costco in Orlando does not have better prices than the grocery stores? The Costco near my house and also the one in Lihue (Kauai) has great prices and a fabulous selection.

When it comes to beer and wine, you don't have to buy in bulk at these Costco's. I'm really only looking at beverages, not food items. I'm having that delivered by GardenGrocer which has a horrible selection of wines. One destination mentioned in this post Sorry, another question...... does Publix offer a discount if you buy 6 or more bottles? Our local grocery store will give you a 10% discount and they also have a "club card" which also offers more discounts? ABC Liquor seems to have a fabulous selection of California Chardonnay's, Pinot's and Sirah's but the prices are OK (sorry, comparing to what I pay here so maybe that's not fair). The Costco in Orlando is not particularly convenient to the attractions area and wouldn't be worth a trip from WDW in my opinion. The beer selection would be by case only and not a wide range just typical stuff. And prices not significantly different than the grocery store. Wine selection is good enough I guess with about half probably the $15+ type which we don't pay much attention to.

So, to us, that's not saving money. If you are willing to make the effort to go that far I'd go to an ABC or the Total Wine instead and in that way be assured a very large selection. But you're only here for a week. How much are you really buying. Publix will be easiest and with a good range of both at reasonable prices. If you want to do Costco, I'd do it on the way from the airport. Publix does not have a loyalty card. Everyone can get the weekly sales prices. I'm not aware of a bulk discount, but drink beer, not much wine. We don't ever buy that many bottles at once. I believe ABC has a certain day of the week where there is a discount on multi bottles. It is FL not CA Marti, get to Total Wine, it will blow you away. They have the best prices of anyone and an amazing selection for beer, wine and alcohol. Go check it out in TO (394 N. Moorpark Road). Walmart's selection is limited and I don't recall buy beer or wine at Publix. Taking £3000 in dollars from U.K., how would you take it?
