My friend brought a bottle of wine from The French Cellar to our house party in Christmas Eve, which impressed everyone with its unique fragrance and great taste.
So I signed up without hesitation and am looking forward to your first wine“ “Many of the wines are not readily available in Singapore and some not even in Paris! I find the wines of Vineyard Gems to be fun and exciting whereas the Tasting Voyage are for those who are abit more discerning” “After 2 years of subscriptions, through enjoying hundreds of different wine from more than 150 winemakers and through 15 regions, The French Cellar has helped me find enjoyable ways to understand and learn about the French regions and their wines.” “I love my Vineyard Gems, great wines from all parts of France. When I was living in Lyon (France), I was amazed with the diversity of taste of wines of French wines. My box is like a trip to French terroirs every month!” “I like good surprises and I like wine – having 2 good wines delivered to me on a monthly basis, delivering unexpected finds, is right up my alley. The wines go straight to my office, and it’s a great way to make sure I always have good wines on hand for “after work discussions”.”
“2 bottles a month are barely enough for my drinking sessions with family and friends. Subscribing to two plans gives me four different experiences – having worked out the math, subscribing to two plans gives me more value for money than ordering the wines separately.” The prices for well-curated wines are reasonable and the wines have been bang-on so far. I’m quite price sensitive plus you really can’t get a better quality-price here in Singapore. Picking out good wines can be a challenge to most people. Remove that uncertainty with The French Cellar! Nicolas is an expert at sending to Singapore some rare wines, difficult to find in retail shops in France … which are worth having at home ! Still in shock after drinking the Cremant de Bourgogne, awesome sparkling wine, perfect for celebration and Singapore weather! Great alternative to the famous and expensive Champagne. The wine tastings organised by the The French Cellar provided a nice and relaxed setting to hang out with friends and learn more about French wines.
It was very good value-for-money, we were able to taste and learn about 5 different quality wines, which is a real steal in Singapore. For someone with an interest in wine, but not much prior experience, I would certainly recommend attending one of the wine tasting events in the future. Before The French Cellar, wine discovery was a random affair. It depended on where I was and who I was with. I visited supermarkets and small specialised retail stores where recommendations were either lacking or not forthcoming. Good wines were also pricey. Access to good wines became an expensive activity that depended on luck, until The French Cellar came along. Now, I am served by a trusted sommelier who would scour the whole of France for good quality wines that are reasonably priced. I must thank your team for the lovely experience in the past 2 years enjoying the numerous wines from different regions of France and learning a great deal from the process It is easy, hassle free for me to be able to taste good wines specially imported from French.
